> Our Commitments
Our values drive everything we do
Partnership. Excellence. Leadership. Integrity. Citizenship.
Five principles that drive every action, behaviour, and thought
at NicLyn Consulting. Five commitments to our customers, employees,
stakeholders, and communities. A way of doing business that builds
sustainable growth, long-term relationships, and value.
Our values integrate the diverse people that work for us and
the variety of services we offer. When it comes to these commitments,
we do not compromise.
Partnership is about developing deeper relationships
with those we work with, by taking the time to appreciate
and identify with their business and situation. Doing so
allows us to see the long run, and deliver assistance that
will work today, tomorrow and well into the future.
We align ourselves to each customer's unique needs. We
listen. When we consult, we seek out an understanding of
the key issues and collaborate on solutions. Our goal is
for each client to feel like our only client; part of a
strong and powerful partnership.
Teamwork is another central theme. By harnessing the experiences,
education, and expertise of many, we can bring you and your
organization the best results.

To excel at NicLyn is to consistently exceed expectations,
and we reward our consultants who can do so on a sustainable
basis. Excellence is very important to us and to those using
our services every day. They need the best return for the
limited budget they can spend on Information Technology.
Excellence entails more than just stellar results. It's
also about attitude and perception: an ability to find hidden
value, to provide extraordinary customer service, to go
the extra mile, and to do it all with laughter and a sincere
smile.
We strive to excel because it keeps customers coming back
time and time again. It builds strong business relationships
and helps all of us to succeed. Most of all, it makes us
feel great to know that we've done our very best and nothing
less.

In the technology industry, there's little compassion
for those who cannot innovate. Our consultants innovate
in several ways. First, we always listen to our clients,
because they know best what they need. Second, we prudently
monitor industry trends and knowledge. Third, we bring it
all together, add a little imagination and out-of-the-box
thinking, to develop solutions that truly can excel.
To turn innovation into leadership, we add inspiration:
getting those affected to be excited and involved. Even
further, we lead by being proactive. It can be as simple
as providing system maintenace to prevent problems, or data
backup to safeguard against disaster. Or it might be as
complex as predicting how future events and uncertainty
will impact your business.
As you can see, our leadership principle takes many different
roles, because like our other values, it reveals itself
in everything we do.

A professional's reputation is built on trust. Trust
that the job will be done, trust that expectations will
be met, trust that integrity will be maintained. We take
trust very seriously, because without our integrity, the
other principles would disintegrate.
Integrity means providing services our customers can rely
on. It means always respecting our clients, employees, suppliers,
and partners. It requires that we turn down a job if someone
else can do it better. It demands confidentiality, honesty,
and equality at all times. It is perhaps the most important
of all that we believe in.
Keeping promises. Earning trust. We stand by our integrity
like the world depends on it, because indeed, everything
we do does depend on it.

If NicLyn were alone on this planet, there would be little
point in offerring the services we work so hard at.
For us, being a good corporate citizen is no different
than being a good human. It's about respect for the people
and places around us, investing in economic and environmental
sustainability, and always considering the external consequences
of our actions.
We've launched several initiatives in our path to good
citizenship, and you can read about them at Our
Involvement. While there's still much more to be done,
these five basic commitments bring us closer each and every
day. |
